We recognise the importance of protecting your personal and financial information. We also believe it is important that you know how we treat the information we receive from you. By applying for or acquiring a Card, you consent to the Distributor (Rêv Australia Pty Ltd ABN 91 117 378 953) and the Issuer (Heritage Building Society Limited ABN 32 087 652 024) collecting, using and disclosing your Personal Information as explained in this privacy statement. If you do not agree to that, then we cannot make a Card available to you and you should not apply for or acquire a Card. Personal Information means information about you that the Distributor, Issuer and their respective agents collect from you, including information when you register or apply for a Card, correspondence, e-mails, records of telephone calls, internet communications and transactional information relating to a Card issued to you or relating to a financial product issued to you. The Distributor and Issuer will collect Personal Information about you when: you contact the Distributor or Issuer (including when you use Customer Assistance or the IVR Number described in the Product Disclosure Statement for the financial product under which a Card is issued); or you use a Card for transactions and balance enquiries. The Distributor and Issuer may disclose your Personal Information to third parties: who are service providers or contractors of the Distributor or Issuer; to facilitate the operation of the Card and the completion and settlement of transactions using the Card; to administer and monitor the contractual relationship between you and the Issuer; for anti-money laundering, counter-terrorism financing, detection of crime, legal compliance and fraud prevention purposes; in connection with a transfer or proposed transfer by the Issuer of the agreement between you and the Issuer; and when required or allowed by law. The Distributor and Issuer may use your Personal Information to: help us to provide our products and services; improve our service; and subject to the Privacy Act, inform you of additional products and services offered by the Distributor that you may have an interest in. When your Personal Information is shared with service providers or contractors, it will only be to the extent reasonably necessary for the purpose of the services they are contracted to provide. Your Personal Information will be processed outside Australia but all service providers and contractors outside Australia will be required to have adequate safeguards in place to protect your Personal Information. The Distributor and Issuer will continue to keep such of your Personal Information as is reasonably necessary, for the purposes mentioned above, after the expiry of the Card. You are entitled to ask the Distributor or Issuer to supply you with any Personal Information that they hold about you. You must submit your request in writing to the appropriate address as below:

The Distributor or Issuer will delete any incorrect information or correct any errors in any of your Personal Information that come to their notice. To aid in the provision of services to you and in the interests of security and to help the Distributor and Issuer maintain and improve their level of service, telephone calls (including calls to Customer Assistance or the IVR Number) may be recorded or monitored.
