A VCARD is a prepaid, disposable Visa number that you can use for shopping online, over the phone or by mail order anywhere Visa is accepted.

WHERE DO I GET A VCARD?
You can purchase a VCARD either DIRECT by completing an online purchase order OR at PARTICIPATING RETAILERS AROUND AUSTRALIA.

HOW DO VCARDS WORK?
Step 1: PURCHASE a VCARD direct OR at participating retailers around Australia
Step 2: REGISTER as a VCARD user
Step 3: ACTIVATE your VCARD by logging in to MY VCARD
Step 4: SHOP using your VCARD Visa number and security details!

HOW LONG IS A VCARD VALID FOR?
Your VCARD will be valid for nine months from the date your payment is received. This will be indicated by your expiry date.

HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY VCARD?
You can pay for your VCARD online via BPAY®, cheque, money order or when you purchase a VCARD in-store via e-pay.

If you choose to pay for your VCARD online using BPAY®, it can take up to 72 hours for your funds to be available for use. You will be notified via email when your payment has been processed and your load value credited to your VCARD.

If you prefer to pay for your VCARD using a cheque or money order, you will be notified via email when your payment has been processed and your load value credited to your VCARD.

The funds loaded on VCARDs purchased in-store via e-pay should be available for use almost immediately.

Note: You will still have to register and activate your VCARD online. VCARD’s are a single load product and are not reloadable after initial purchase.

WHERE CAN I USE MY VCARD?
You can use your VCARD anywhere prepaid Visa is accepted online, over the phone or in mail order catalogues.

HOW DO I ACTIVATE MY VCARD?
You first need to REGISTER as a VCARD user. Then simply login to MY VCARD using your username and password and choose the Activate a VCARD tab from the menu. You'll be asked to provide your 13-digit VCARD voucher number and your reference number. If you purchased your VCARD from a retailer, these will be found on your printed receipt. If you purchased a VCARD direct from us you will have received them via email or SMS.

CAN I ADD FUNDS TO A VCARD?
No. However once you have used up the available funds on a VCARD you can simply purchase another VCARD.

CAN I MERGE FUNDS FROM MORE THAN ONE VCARD?
No. Each VCARD has a separate and unique Visa number.

CAN I CANCEL MY VCARD AND REDEEM UNUSED FUNDS?
Yes, prior to the expiry of your VCARD, you can choose to redeem any unused funds, less a $10 redemption fee, by downloading a redemption form from the MY VCARD section of the site and sending it to us. We will send you a cheque to the address on file for you at MY VCARD. If you have not yet activated your VCARD the redemption fee will not be charged, however you will still need to register before submitting a request.

WHAT VCARD AMOUNTS ARE AVAILABLE?
You can buy a VCARD in amounts from $50 to $1000.

WHAT IF MY VCARD NUMBER IS LOST OR STOLEN?
We recommend that you keep your VCARD numbers in a safe place. You should treat your VCARD Visa number and security details with the same protection as you would a physical Visa card.

Lost VCARD: If you have lost your VCARD Visa number you can view it by logging in to MY VCARD using your username and password. Your username is the email address we have on file for you and your password was self-selected. Forgot your password? CLICK HERE

Stolen or compromised VCARD: If your VCARD has been stolen or compromised, you can block your card at MY VCARD free of charge and submit a funds redemption request. Alternatively please phone cardholder services and we will block your VCARD – charges apply. You will still need to submit a funds redemption request online at MY VCARD.

WHAT IF I LOSE MY SECURITY DETAILS (EXPIRY AND CVV2)?
If you have lost your security details (CVV2 and expiry date) you can login to MY VCARD and request the security details be resent to you.

HOW DO I CHECK MY VCARD'S AVAILABLE BALANCE?
You can check your VCARD's available balance and complete transaction history online, at any time, free of charge. Click on the MY VCARD tab and follow the applicable prompts.

You can also check your available balance by phone by calling 1800 204 968 or +1 866 218 3947 if you are calling from outside Australia. Phone charges apply.

We suggest that you check your available balance from time to time to ensure that you don't make purchases or withdrawals that exceed your available balance.

Should you have any queries or disputes about any transactions, you can contact 24 Hour Customer Assistance on 1800 204 968. Phone charges apply.

WHAT SHOULD I DO TO DISPUTE A TRANSACTION ON MY VCARD?
If you have any concerns about a transaction on your VCARD, you should always contact the merchant directly to resolve the issue.

If you are unable to resolve the issue with the merchant you can complete a disputed transaction form found at MY VCARD or phone 24 Hour Customer Assistance on 1800 204 968. Phone charges apply.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOUR PURCHASE EXCEEDS THE AVAILABLE BALANCE OF YOUR VCARD?
If you attempt to use your VCARD for a transaction that is greater than the remaining available balance - the transaction will be declined.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOUR VCARD IS DECLINED?
Should your VCARD be declined, most likely your available balance is less than the amount of the transaction. If you believe there is an issue with your VCARD's available balance (once you have checked your balance on the website) then you may contact 24 Hour Customer Assistance on 1800 204 968 or +1 866 218 3947 if you are calling from outside Australia. Phone charges apply.

WHAT ARE THE COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH USING A VCARD?
You pay a one off $5.50 handling fee for every VCARD purchased. There are no monthly or annual fees and no interest payments. A foreign exchange fee of 3.5% applies to transactions made at merchants outside Australia.

HOW DO I SEND A VCARD GIFT?
Once you have purchased a VCARD, you can send it to someone as a virtual gift online. Click on the "GIFT A VCARD" button on the homepage and enter the details of the recipient and add a personal message. You will require the recipients email address, the VCARD voucher number and the reference number to be able to successfully send your VCARD. Once you press send, an email will be sent to the recipient with the voucher number and reference number along with details on how to activate their VCARD Gift.

HOW DO I ACTIVATE A VCARD GIFT?
First you need to REGISTER as a VCARD user. Then simply login to your account using your username (email address) and password and choose the Activate a VCARD tab from the menu. You'll be asked to provide your 13-digit VCARD voucher number and reference number. These can be found on your printed receipt, or on the email or SMS you received notifying you of your VCARD gift.

I SENT A VCARD GIFT BUT IT HASN'T ARRIVED YET?
Spam filters on email can sometimes wrongly detect a VCARD email as Spam. If you or your recipient do not receive your confirmation email, we recommend you check your ‘Junk Email’, ‘Spam’ or ‘Bulk’ email folders.

If you are still having problems with your VCARD Gift, you can submit a query online or give us a call on 1300 725 796 and we can arrange for the details to be resent. Please provide the details of when the VCARD gift was purchased and when you attempted to send the VCARD Gift.
